#116 Silent love

Adam found Sarah crying in her room. He hugged her as she told him about her latest argument with Ryan.

“I want the type of love you and Mom have..”

Adam remembered how he had courted his wife years ago and how many times they had almost let go.

“It’s not perfect, we have our own problems. It took us a long time to get here. You’ll get there too.” He replied wiping her tears.

“How is it that you and Mom never fight this much?”

Adam smiled and moved his hands “Sign language makes your arms pain after awhile.”

“How much do you love me?”

The 8 year old girl smiled at her mother and spread her arms wide open saying “Thhhiisssss much.”

At 18, the sheets lay crumpled as she told her boyfriend she loved him enough to let him be her first.

She was 28 when she signed the register in a declaration of love as her fiancé became her husband.

One day at 38 her little boy had come home crying from the playground.

“Nobody likes me!”
“I love you baby” she said wiping his tears.
With outstretched arms she said “I love you thhhiisssss much!”

#98 A Perfect Couple

“How do you like this?”

Aman whistled looking at the glittering solitaire. “Who’s the lucky girl?”

“I’m going to ask Carrie to marry me”

“Congratulations! You two are perfect for each other!”

“I’d never have met her if it weren’t for you..”

Aman laughed “I hoped the two of you would like each other. I never imagined my date would end up with my friend instead of me and I’d be happy about it…”

“Here she comes. How do I look?”

“Like the Goddess you always are.”

Lysa smiled and got up to hug Carrie as she walked towards them.
