“Ben, you knew how to do this yesterday. What’s wrong today? Go back to your seat.”
Ben stared at the numbers on the blackboard but they refused to make sense to him. The thought that he didn’t know something he was supposed to, angered him. The rest of the day wasn’t any better. Rhea was keeping him at an arms distance and he couldn’t understand why.
He walked back home wondering what else he had missed from the previous day.
This alternate day schooling wasn’t going to work if Alan missed the details. The twins needed to have another talk.
