She understood why there were no baby pictures around the house. Still, she wasn’t the only one in the dark. What the adoption agency hadn’t told her overbearing parents was that she had an identical twin sister.
The internet made it easy. Her sister didn’t have the comforts of a home and family but she had the gypsy free loving ways that Alison coveted. It had taken a month of planning and today, she had executed it perfectly.
She put the empty bottle and note next to the body and softly said, “I’m sorry, but it had to be you.”
